The Department is currently seeking to appoint a Research Associate/Research Fellow. This research post is required for SMARTsurg project funded by H2020.

Bristol Robotics Laboratory at UWE is looking to appoint a talented researcher to join a dynamic team of researchers and work closely with our project partners across Europe. We are developing a new generation of surgical robotic systems to allow minimally invasive surgical procedures to spread into new surgical areas. This requires multidisciplinary collaborations and joint efforts of engineers and clinicians.

This post is based at our lively Frenchay campus where we have invested in the latest facilities and resources to give our students access to everything they need to succeed – with £200m being spent on new state-of-the-art learning spaces and accommodation between now and 2020 to enhance our offer even further. Frenchay campus is within close proximity to excellent motorway links and within walking distance of two train stations, making UWE Frenchay Campus the ideal place to work for those wishing to commute to Bristol.
