Events Manager

University College London - UCL Communications and Marketing

The UCL Communications and Marketing division is responsible for maintaining and developing the reputation and profile of the university as a world-leading organisation and aspirational choice as a study destination. We are seeking an experienced Events Manager to contribute to the delivery of a range of events for UCL staff, students, external stakeholders and the general public, in support of CAM'S and UCL's strategic priorities. As well as hands-on events management, the team also manages a range of online and print publicity materials and plays a leading role in professional networks both within UCL and externally.

The successful candidate will have considerable experience of managing successful events and a good understanding of the UK Higher Education environment. They will have excellent communication skills, an ability to maintain high levels of attention to detail even when under pressure and the capacity to adapt well to change. As with most events-focused roles, there is a requirement to be able to work outside of "normal" office hours on occasion, for which time off in lieu will normally be given.
