Fixed term contract for one year

In this position you will teach undergraduate medical students in the first two years of their course. This role will provide a training opportunity to develop your teaching and educational skills. You will also undertake the Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Practice, and gain experience for a possible future teaching role in medical or higher education.

Applicants must hold MB ChB or equivalent and have completed satisfactorily two years of Foundation Training, or the equivalent, at the time of taking up their post together with full GMC registration. All applicants should have experience in higher education, preferably medical education, be able to demonstrate an interest in clinical education and be able to highlight the importance, significance and relevance of basic science in clinical medicine and practice.

The appointee must be available to commence on 1 September 2018.
