Postdoctoral Research Assistant (Wellcome Trust)

We are seeking to appoint a motivated and diligent early career researcher to join our multidisciplinary research team across clinical psychology, psychiatry, and neuroscience. The successful candidate will contribute to our new research programme funded by the Wellcome Trust Seed Award in Science, led by Dr Stella Chan. The goal of the research is to identify risk and resilience mechanisms underpinning low mood and depression in adolescents. The project will involve recruiting adolescent participants from schools, community and / or NHS clinical services and conducting assessments of their mood and biological and psychosocial functioning using a wide range of protocols (including, for example, neuro-cognitive computer tasks, psychological scales, structured interviews, and collection of biological samples such as hair and saliva).

This position is full time (35 hours per week) and fixed term for 21 months.
