The salary will be paid at Grade 6, spine 31 £33,518 per annum, plus £2,923 per annum London Allowance.

This post will be Fixed Term for 6 months full-time or up to one year part-time, depending on the return of the substantive post holder.

This is a Full-time post, but Part-time will be considered.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Nicotine Research Group at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience to cover a period of maternity leave. The Nicotine Research Group is led by Professor Ann McNeill and has a high profile in the areas of tobacco control, harm reduction and smoking and mental health.

The successful candidate will have a PhD in an area relevant to the research, postdoctoral experience and a track record of high-impact publications. While the main focus of the role is on research, some teaching and student supervision will also be expected.
