We are seeking a highly motivated Clinical Research Nurse to join our small, friendly research team, working under the supervision of Professor Peter Taylor at the Botnar Research Centre and Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre, Oxford.

You will work on cutting edge commercial and academic studies that advance patient management and therapy and provide a comprehensive, holistic approach to the care of individuals with arthritis. Responsibilities will include; assisting with the identification of suitable study participants, recruiting and consenting them to the study where appropriate; coordination of allocated trial activities and delivery of clinical care to study participants according to a defined protocol, ensuring the principles of ICHGCP guidelines are followed at all times.

You will be an enthusiastic NMC registered nurse with relevant experience that demonstrates the appropriate skills for the role. Evidence of working with patients who have inflammatory, musculoskeletal, bone and joint diseases is desirable though full training will be provided. Clinical research experience and experience of working within a Clinical Trial Unit would also be an advantage.

This is a full-time fixed-term appointment for 2 years. Part-time applications will be considered.
