Clinical Teaching Associate / Clinical Assistant Professor

The University of Nottingham’s School of Veterinary Medicine and Science (SVMS) invites applications for a fixed term Clinical Assistant Professor/Clinical Teaching Associate in Anatomic Pathology. This is a one year post, to cover parental leave. The role will be focused on clinical service to SVMS’s Clinical Associates and other veterinary practices, teaching fifth year pathology rotations and teaching pathology within interdisciplinary modules earlier in the curriculum. 

Candidates should possess a primary veterinary degree that can be be registered with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons and a further qualification, ideally at Diploma level. Candidates eligible to sit and working towards clinical qualifications may be considered for a Clinical Teaching Associate position.

Candidates should submit a CV which gives details of academic qualifications, including class of first degreeif appropriate, a career summary and a full list of publications and research grants. A statement of not more than 500 words on your long term careerplan is also required.

Teaching Associate: £29,799 to £38,833 per annum, depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond these ranges is subject to performance

Clinical Assistant Professor scale: £35,550 - £47,722 per annum, depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond these ranges is subject to performance

This is full-time, fixed-term post for 12 months.
