MR Research Physicist

The Brighton and Sussex Medical School - Department of Neuroscience

This post is a great opportunity to be involved in a broad range of cutting-edge imaging research using state-of-the-art MR imaging equipment.

The successful candidate will assist in the development and implementation of functional and quantitative MR studies.

This will include the design of scanner protocols, optimization of MR techniques and assisting with the analysis and interpretation of imaging data.

In addition, the post-holder will be supported and expected to pursue their own research themes.

This role also involves liaising and working closely with the radiographers at CISC and the current medical physics support, including the BSUH Medical Physics team.

An appropriate degree, prior experience of imaging research and working with researchers are essential. In addition good computer, problem solving and analytical skills are required.
