With a background in learning and teaching or programme management in an academic department, you will have good insight into the national landscape for quality assurance in UK HE. You will have experience of working in support of taught programmes accredited by a Professional, Statutory or Regulatory Body, and the need to ensure the integration of professional body requirements with institutional regulations and policies.

You will be capable of applying PSRB requirements to taught programmes and navigating academic governance structures to ensure that necessary changes are made in a timely fashion. You will be capable of proactive management of a portfolio of such provision, and providing appropriate support to academic departments before and after accreditation exercises in order to secure desired outcomes. You will be capable of autonomous working and used to working in a team environment involving colleagues in a central team and in academic departments. You will have knowledge of academic governance, good analytical and report writing skills and be sensitive to the needs and characteristics of a variety of academic disciplines
