Lecturer in Digital Electronics

Loughborough University - Wolfson School of Mechanical, Electrical and Manufacturing Engineering

We are seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Digital Electronics who can support and enhance our research capability and who can contribute to our highly-regarded taught programmes.

We are a multidisciplinary school and welcome applicants who can contribute to our research teams as a specialist in the areas of VLSI systems architecture, ASICs, microprocessors (including sensors, architecture, programming and applications), FPGAs, and the fundamental concepts of electronics. We seek candidates who are able to demonstrate engineering expertise in their field and who are able to adapt this to broader engineering problems found in the real world. Candidates should also have an awareness of commercial potentials of their research and be capable of forging productive, collaborative links with partners across all sectors.
