The appointment will be on UCL Grade 7. The salary range will be £34,635 - £41,864 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.

The post holder is the lead administrator for curriculum and assessment administration in Year 5 of the MBBS programme including: timetabling of core teaching; clinical placement allocations; coordination of placements timetables at 3 sites; organising written and clinical assessments; and processing examination results using bespoke software. The post holder works closely with the Year

5 Academic Lead to manage and develop the curriculum and to pilot innovation in a rapidly changing undergraduate medical curriculum; guides and directs Year 5 module managers and contributing placement administrators; liaises with a wide network of university and trust clinicians and administrators responsible for local hospital and primary care placements; and manages communications with 380-400 students in Year 5. The post holder also oversees medical school careers events and activities across the MBBS programme.

The post holder will have significant experience of managing curriculum and assessment administration, preferably within a medical school, and will have a degree, NVQ III or equivalent tertiary level qualification. Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential, as are excellent interpersonal skills, high level expertise in use of spreadsheets and databases, a pro-active, professional and collaborative approach, and the ability to work under pressure in a professional, dynamic and changing environment.
