Senior Online Programme Manager

Imperial College London - Imperial College Business School

Due to the continuing growth of online programmes at the School, we are seeking a talented and motivated individual to lead us in developing programme processes and structures to deliver outstanding online degrees.

You will be responsible for leading the programme administration and management of Imperial’s pioneering online programmes.  You’ll be managing a team of programme managers and coordinators and combining your expertise in programme delivery and technology to enable the team to develop innovative and effective learning experiences.

The ideal candidate will have a real appetite for change and improvement, with a real sense of responsibility and fearless in the pursuit of perfection. You will be an excellent team leader with experience of managing staff to produce results promptly.

You will be expected to establish and embed best practices and innovation in online learning, provide outstanding learning experiences to students and evaluate the success of new approaches to ensure our online delivery of programmes is fit for purpose.

You will, therefore, need to have significant experience of programme delivery, ideally within an online context, to understand what activities work (and don’t work) in the online space.  You will need to ensure all materials meet all external and internal requirements before our programmes launch. To do this, you need to be both thorough and observant, with an eye for detail.

This role will sit within the School’s Edtech Lab. This team has a strong technical base, which includes in-house media and web development.  You will therefore need to be comfortable having technical conversations and understanding how to incorporate different technologies into the online programme experience. We strive to be innovative and excellent at what we do so you will need to be thoroughly acquainted with current trends and leverage these for programme delivery.

Informal enquiries can be made to Marc Wells, Deputy Director of Edtech Lab: m.wells@imperial.ac.uk
