CCW External Communications Coordinator

The role

As External Communications Coordinator, you will have the exciting opportunity to use your writing and editorial skills to coordinate the delivery of an annual external communications plan to build on the high profiles of Camberwell, Chelsea and Wimbledon Colleges of Arts.

Via print, media and online channels, you will coordinate the external communication strategy for the colleges, increasing awareness and engagement between the colleges and our target groups, maximising promotional opportunities and supporting student recruitment.

This will include building audiences for channels including blogs, social media and print outputs in line with college and University strategies, as well as developing media proposals, managing media information, promoting expert comment, writing case studies, playing a supporting role in web and events planning and delivering joined-up campaigns.

This is a nine month Fixed Term Contract opportunity covering maternity leave.

Your profile

You’ll have considerable experience of overseeing communication channels, including setting up and running channels as well as creating and editing content (copy, images, video) and implementing changes based on analytics.

You will also require specialist knowledge of communication methods and of current digital, multimedia and offline communication technologies and channels.
