We are seeking a proactive and dynamic Student Communications Officer to implement an institution-wide approach to communicating key messages to students. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating institution-wide student facing communications, utilising existing platforms and supporting the development of new channels. As part of this they will lead a small team of part-time student staff and work with our academic schools and professional services on developing their communications to students.

Person Specification

Success in this role will require a positive approach and sound knowledge of current communication trends. You should have experience of working across a large, complex institution, working with a variety of stakeholders to deliver effective communications. Supported by excellent written and oral communications skills, you will need to show evidence of being able to engage with a broad audience through multiple mediums.
