Student Support Officer

Regent's University London - Student Services

The Student Support Team is an integral part of our Student Services Department, committed to providing students with a high level of support in a variety of areas.  The role of Student Support Officer is responsible for providing front-line confidential support for students, pastoral care, and other more general guidance on issues including attendance and academic progression.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with the relevant experience who would like to further develop their career in the areas of general Student Support, within an HE institution with a large international student body. The effectiveness of the Student Support Team will rely on the team working together and supporting each other in a variety of projects and activities, and the post holder will play a key role in contributing to a positive and supportive environment within the team.

Experience of working within a Higher Education Student Support environment providing one-to-one support is essential, along with running student information sessions and advising students on a variety of issues.

We are also very interested in hearing from candidates with a solid understanding and strong commitment to the needs of international students.
