Reporting to the Director of Estates and Facilities, the postholder will take lead responsibility for the delivery of the University’s ambitious £260 capital programme.  Key areas of responsibility include masterplanning, capital programme development and delivery, property management, space management, BIM and construction safety.

The successful candidate will have proven experience of leading major capital projects and programmes across a complex estates portfolios.   You will be adept at communicating with and reporting to stakeholders confidently at a senior level, given the need ensure that key stakeholder groups have confidence that the University is deriving best value and outcome from the capital investment in its Estate.

Strong leadership and management skills are essential, as you will be required to lead and inspire an internal team as well as external consultants and contractors.  You will possess a relevant technical background and knowledge gained in the construction and property industry, thus giving the capability to lead the team confidently on technical matters.
