Clinical Senior Lecturer or Clinical Reader or Clinical Chair in Neurology

A position is available for Clinical Senior Lecturer/ Clinical Reader / Clinical Chair in Neurology to lead and develop internationally excellent research activity in an area of Neurology compatible with existing research themes within the Division.  In addition, to provide leadership in programmes designed to deliver high-quality and research-led teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate level and contribute to School of Medicine’s Research Excellence Framework strategy and to inspire others to do the same.

The successful candidate will have international standing in neurological research with proven experience in leading an independent research programme, initiating, fostering and maintaining effective national and international research collaborations. In addition the candidate will have a broad experience in clinical neurology and research governance. Also to have proven ability to attract grant funding and to deliver high-quality teaching and training at undergraduate and post-graduate level.

This post is full time (37.5 hours), available immediately and is ongoing.
