Research Project Coordinator

We are appointing a Research Project Coordinator to a 4-year Wellcome Trust-supported Collaborative Project in the Medical Humanities, People Like You awarded toProfessors Sophie Day (Goldsmiths, Anthropology), Celia Lury (Warwick University, Centre for Interdisciplinary Methodologies) and Helen Ward (Imperial College London, School of Public Health). We aim to establish the cultural significance of new methods for specifying and portraying people precisely across a range of settings. We will develop an interdisciplinary figural analysis in collaboration with three creative practitioners to put the ‘person’ back into personalisation and relate people to the data collected from them and on their behalf.

Based within the Department of Anthropology, the successful candidate will provide research support and management for People Like You, including a team of 3 investigators, 3 postdoctoral research associates and 3 creative consultants. You will provide project management support to the research team, including overseeing the project plan, timelines and events; managing financial resources and reports; and coordinating project publicity and communication.

You will have a relevant first degree or equivalent experience, excellent written and oral communication skills and proven research project management in Higher Education and/or UK funded research projects. Applicants should have an interest in interdisciplinary research collaborations and the ability to work with attention to detail so as to manage resources to meet deadlines and project milestones.

This post is offered on a part-time basis (0.5 FTE) for a period of 4 years from 8 January 2018.
