The Department of Computer Science and Creative Technologies is seeking to appoint a Senior Lecturer in Wearable Computing.

The broad aims of this post are to develop a personal profile of wearable computing research as a member of our prestigious CCCS research team, and develop a teaching profile that facilitates the integration of research into our teaching programmes. You will be part of a team delivering high quality research and teaching in one or more of the following areas: the internet of things, data science, smart cities, machine learning, security, software engineering and parallel multi-core programming.

You will be responsible for developing their research activities (grant writing, project and PhD supervision, publications) and their integrated teaching activities (undergraduate and postgraduate).

If you do not already have an HE teaching qualification, you will be supported to undertake the University Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education programme.
