Student Ambassador Coordinator

University of Gloucestershire - The Communications, Marketing and Student Recruitment (CMSR)

0.8FTE, 29.6 hours per week

The Communications, Marketing and Student Recruitment (CMSR) department is responsible for all aspects of the University’s marketing, UK and international recruitment, admissions, widening participation and outreach and our communications and branding.

The department also employs a pool of circa 150 student ambassadors (SAs) each year to work across open days, campus tours, UCAS fairs, outreach and other university events. In addition, ambassadors can extend their role to be a student mentor, supporting students on a peer-to-peer basis in schools and colleges.

Working with colleagues across CMSR, this post-holder will support the Student Ambassador Manager with the recruitment, training, mentoring and development of the Student Ambassadors and Mentors. You will need to have excellent organisational and communication skills, be proactive and have the ability to work using your own initiative.
