Two Fixed-Term Teaching Fellows in Physics

The Department of Physics at the University of Bath is seeking to appoint two fixed-term Teaching Fellows for the 2017/18 academic year. We particularly welcome applications from candidates with expertise in undergraduate laboratories and/or computation or simulation techniques.

The appointees will play an important role in teaching delivery, including lecturing to undergraduate students at a range of levels, running personal tutorials and problems classes, assisting in supervising students within the teaching laboratories, and running undergraduate research projects.

Applicants should have a higher degree in physics or a closely related discipline and be able to meet all the essential criteria outlined in the job description. You should have a strong commitment to high-quality teaching, the ability to motivate students, work as part of a team and demonstrate high ethical standards.
