Experimental Officer in Mineral Scaling

University of Leeds - School of Mechanical Engineering

Would you like to provide laboratory support for the oilfield scaling activities in the Institute of Functional Surfaces (iFS)? Are you interested in using your technical expertise and specialist knowledge to support experimental scaling? Could you deliver undergraduate and postgraduate level teaching on diffraction and other analytical techniques?

You will provide experimental support by maintaining the experimental rigs and ensuring they are calibrated and serviced. With a Masters level qualification in mineral scaling, you will have a strong background in Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) and other analysis techniques, as well as the experimental aspects of scaling studies. You will also have the proven ability to motivate and support students and team members, helping them to achieve their full potential.
