Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Construction Project Management/Quantity Surveying

The School of Architecture Design and the Built Environment has an excellent record of graduate employment, delivering vocational courses with employability embedded at their heart.  This is achieved through excellent relationships with industry and the employment of experts with extensive professional experience within the teaching team. We deliver well-established and highly successful professionally accredited courses in construction management and quantity surveying, at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

As a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer you will contribute to the academic management and development of courses, scholarly activity and research, and have the opportunity to develop commercial activities. The role also involves contributing to teaching Construction Technology, Management and Quantity Surveying.

You will be expected to develop a published research profile and work with other academics in an active research group led by Professor Christine Pasquire.

The role requires professional levels of knowledge and experience in one or more of the following specialisms: construction technology, construction management, quantity surveying, procurement and contracts. Most importantly you should have a passion and enthusiasm for teaching and nurturing the next generation of surveying and construction professionals.

Candidates with experience in further education, distance learning and higher apprenticeships are also encouraged to apply.
