Regional Partnerships Development Officer

Are you interested in working for a world top 100 university? We have an exciting opportunity in the recently formed Regional Engagement and Partnerships Department within Corporate Services for someone looking to use their skills in developing and maintaining relationships to deliver partnerships that help us make an impact on the economic growth of the city and region.

This role will provide the opportunity to work in a fast-moving environment working closely with academic colleagues, as well as colleagues in Global Engagement, Development Alumni Relations and Events (DARE), Planning and Strategy, Corporate Communications and the Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre (AMRC) as well as external partners such as cultural and regional development organisations.

Educated to degree level, you will have experience of building effective partnerships between different organisations and knowledge and experience of account management practices and processes. You will be responsible for delivering networking opportunities for regional businesses and academics as well as mapping the interests of external organisations onto the University’s strategic research and development themes and vice versa.

As you will be responsible for supporting economic growth in the region, experience of one or more of the following sectors: High Value Manufacturing, Health and Care, Digital would be an advantage.
