Careers Information and Communications Co-ordinator

University of Huddersfield - Student Services

Fixed term for 9 months (maternity cover), 37 hours per week

This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive, student-focussed individual to work within the University’s award winning Careers and Employability Service.

You will be responsible for creating and delivering careers information aimed at students and staff, using a variety of media and formats. You will also take a lead in the marketing of the Service across campus and in ensuring that students and graduates remain fully engaged with our message and provision.

Using your initiative, and embracing feedback from service users, you will also be able to demonstrate an interest in maximising student engagement, especially via social media; and an understanding of the creative skills and capabilities needed to maintain and develop an extensive website.

With a combination of talent, commitment, creativity and flexibility you will thrive in this demanding but rewarding environment.

Key attributes include: a positive approach, energy and enthusiasm, and the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of people. A degree or equivalent qualification is an essential requirement for this role.
