The Finance team at the University of Reading has undergone a major transformation in the way it delivers its services to both internal and external stakeholders and to meet the ambitious growth and challenges that the University has set itself.

Reporting to the Finance Director, the Trainer will be responsible for delivering training on all Finance packages to the Finance team and the wider University. This will involve designing and delivering training programmes in a variety of formats, including by classroom, 1-2-1, and on-line. This role will be the main point of contact for all financial systems trainings needs and will need to plan and schedule a complete programme of training courses. Our Core system is Unit 4 Business World (Agresso).

You will have:

  • In depth knowledge of Finance software packages.
  • Demonstrable experience of writing and delivering training courses.
  • Ability to plan own workload and work with little supervision.
  • GSCE English and Maths or equivalent as a minimum. An accounting qualification would be useful but not essential, although a thorough grasp of accounting principles is required.
