Due to continued growth, WMG have a great opportunity for an experienced administrator to hold responsibility for the management of a number of specific areas of administration within the Full Time MSc Programmes. These programmes have an annual intake of around 1000 students, across 14 MSc courses.

Reporting to the Teaching and Learning Manager, and one of 3 Teaching and Learning Officers, the role will deputise for the Full time MSc Programme Management in a variety of ways. This will include the administrative management of external project supervision, and organisation of the WMG supervisor training programme.

The post will hold particular responsibility for coordinating investigations of plagiarism, requests for extensions to coursework deadlines, and support for students and supervisors in the project selection and ethical approval process. The post holder will also provide line management for administrative staff, and will also need to become a ‘power user’ of our in-house system for project selection, and any IT systems used for assessment (such as Tabula), which will involve trouble shooting, liaising with developers to identify issues and improvements, and training others to use systems.

You will need to be a skilled and experienced administrator with significant experience managing large scale programmes and people management, ideally within an HE environment, along with excellent written and interpersonal communication skills. You will need well developed organisation and problem solving skills, and an ability to prioritise and work under pressure. You will also need a high degree of computer literacy, including familiarity with databases and spreadsheets.

In return we will provide you with a great range of benefits which include an attractive pension scheme, 30 days holiday plus Christmas closure, some fantastic savings on a wide range of products and services, and excellent learning and development opportunities.
