Assistant Professor in Quantitative and Mixed Methods with a Focus on Network Analysis

The Department of Methodology is a leading centre for research and education in social science research methods. The Department has a thriving research culture, with its members advancing research in core social science disciplines as well as in research methodology. It leads the provision of research methods education to students across the range of disciplines at LSE. The Department is recruiting an Assistant Professor in Quantitative and Mixed Methods with special expertise in network analysis.

Candidates should have completed a PhD and have research expertise in a relevant social science discipline and/or in quantitative research methodology. Candidates should have expertise in quantitative network analysis, to the level of being able to teach and conduct world-class research in this area. They should have a track record or trajectory of internationally excellent publications. They should have experience in teaching or researching in qualitative or mixed research methods. Finally, candidates should have a willingness to engage in collaborative research with other members of the Department, and with related research centres and disciplines, especially Anthropology and Social Policy.
