We’re offering a great opportunity for an ambitious and flexible librarian to develop their career in an innovative and user-focused academic support service. You will be joining a team of librarians and academic skills professionals delivering excellent integrated services which support the learning, teaching and research needs of our academic community.

This is a particularly exciting time to join us as we bring together our highly regarded Skills for Learning Team with our successful team of Academic Librarians, to capitalise on the strong reputation of both.

As an Academic Librarian you will develop strong relationships with academic colleagues, deliver digital literacy skills teaching using blended teaching approaches, and have the enthusiasm to support the research ambitions of our university.

You will have experience of teaching groups of students, ability to manage and negotiate budgets, and a proactive approach to forming strong working relationships with a range of stakeholders. It is likely that you will be supporting staff and students in a subject area related to health and / or social sciences.
