You will contribute to our extensive and world-leading program in experimental and clinical pharmacology of anti-infective agents. We have a wide repertoire of laboratory in vitro and in vivo models of infection, and use these to further understand optimal usage of antimicrobial agents. Our reputation and track record is largely based on systemic antifungal and antibacterial agents for use in life-threatening infections. Our laboratory has a broad base of funding including industry, Innovative Medicines Initiative, EUFP7, Wellcome Trust. You should be qualified to BTEC Higher Level (or equivalent) with experience of training others in the use of laboratory equipment and techniques. You should have relevant laboratory experience and the ability to take ownership and monitor maintenance of equipment in the laboratory. The post is available until 30 September 2018.
