Research Technician

University of East Anglia - Faculty of Science, School of Biological Sciences

The School of Biological Sciences at the University of East Anglia is seeking a Research Technician who will assist with investigations into skeletal muscle regeneration using a mouse model. The project, headed by Professors Andrea Münsterberg and Ulrike Mayer, uses a conditional mutant to determine how muscle regeneration is affected in the absence of cilia. The post will be part of a dynamic research group and fully integrated in a collaborative working environment. 

You will have a degree in Biology or equivalent or other relevant experience, and be able to fulfil all essential elements of the person specification. 

The post is available from 1 December 2017 or as soon as possible thereafter on a full-time basis. The post is funded by the MRC for a fixed term period of 3 years. If desired, part-time working arrangements can be negotiated.
