The University is seeking to appoint a post-doctoral researcher in Learning and Teaching to work within Solent Learning and Teaching Institute in order to advance research informed teaching and strengthen pedagogic research outputs. This is an exciting time to join a rapidly developing university with a growing national and international reputation, particularly as Southampton Solent University has recently been awarded Research Degree Awarding Powers:

Solent Learning and Teaching Institute is seeking candidates who can undertake pedagogic research related to various aspects of learning and teaching such as:

•    Assessment and feedback
•    Technology enhanced learning
•    Student engagement
•    Equality, Diversity, Inclusivity
•    Curriculum enhancement, innovation and creativity
•    Research Informed Teaching

Our ideal candidate will have a strong interest in learning and teaching, experience of working in higher education, and excellent speaking and writing skills. The candidate will be committed to improving the student learning experience through research, and be open to collaboration with staff and students on pedagogic research projects.
