Grade F: £33,518 - £36,613 per annum (+7k market supplement)

Our Accounting and Finance department is one of the largest in Europe, with an excellent reputation for student satisfaction. The Department is keen to attract scholars who will play key roles in sustaining our excellent teaching and student satisfaction record, and contribute significantly to our research through publishing in reputable journals and pursuing research funding.

The Vice-Chancellor’s lectureships aim to enable individuals to grow and develop in their area of expertise in a fully supported teaching and research environment. Your position is uniquely endowed with a research allowance of 50% of your time/workload. We also have a lively research culture with frequent research seminars and workshops, a mentoring scheme, and Departmental and Faculty-wide resources for conference participation.

With experience of lecturing in UK higher education, you’ll bring evidence of scholarship and/or research and strong interests in the theory, development and practice of accounting and/or finance in a specific discipline area.

Your excellent academic track record and relevant PhD will accompany excellent team working and first-rate communication skills. You should also possess good subject knowledge across a range of accounting and finance subjects, as some flexibility will be required.
