Senior Lecturer in Management Development

The Open University Business School is looking to recruit a Senior Lecturer in Management Development who will be involved in delivering the faculty’s strategic ambition to develop its income stream from Executive Education Business.

You will be responsible for business development as well as for designing, developing and overseeing the delivery of blended learning solutions to meet the needs of organisations. You will be expected to take a role in developing programmes that draw upon assets – content, tutors, work-based pedagogy, and accreditation structures - from The Business School. Many of these corporate programmes will have an International dimension.

A significant part of the role will involve meeting with prospective clients to develop business, scope their requirements and design suitable solutions. You will also be required to lead a number of small project teams developing and delivering blended learning programmes for corporate clients.

You will have a relevant higher degree (or equivalent) and possibly a qualification in business management and/or education and training. This role would be suitable for someone with experience in development and delivery of corporate programmes for diverse groups of learners as well as experience of business development and leading tendering processes.
