Fixed term contract for 6 months.

Cancer Research UK Funded Research Associate.

You will join the laboratory of Dr Giacomo De Piccoli (Cancer Research UK Career Development Fellow) in the Division of Biomedical Sciences at Warwick Medical School and make a positive contribution to his research that aims to understand the mechanism and regulation of eukaryotic DNA replication.

In particular, you will study the regulation of DNA replication using budding yeast as a model organism. You should have expertise in yeast genetics and biology. You should have training in the areas of biochemistry and cell biology. In depth knowledge of the mechanism underlying DNA replication and transcription termination is required.

You will have good interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a research team enjoying critical but constructive conversation and the potential to produce publications in high-impact peer-reviewed journals.

You will have a BSc / MSc in a relevant field and a solid knowledge of cell biology as evidenced from your CV.
