Senior Lecturer in Entrepreneurship/Innovation

You will help develop and enhance the existing reputation of the Department. We expect you to play a leading role in developing and managing modules and programmes in entrepreneurship and/or innovation. You will contribute to the development of high quality research informed teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels and help to further develop the provision of courses in the broad fields of entrepreneurship and/or innovation. You will also help shape research direction and output in the field.

The Person

This role calls for an individual with interest in teaching entrepreneurship and innovation to undergraduate and postgraduate students and developing links with the entrepreneurial community. You should possess a PhD in entrepreneurship or innovation. This will be matched by some experience in higher education and an emerging record of publications in peer-reviewed journals. Skilled in planning and delivering modules in the cognate subject, you will have the ability to contribute to teaching and learning at all levels with an in-depth understanding of your subject area. Innovative in your approach to bringing together the academic and business worlds, you will have a commitment to high quality, research informed teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

Ideally, applications are especially sought from candidates with research interests in the following sub-disciplines of e’ship – innovation management; business start- up design; and entrepreneurial finance.
