The position is located in the Subject Group: Paramedical, Perioperative and Advanced Practice within the Faculty of Health Sciences (FHS). The FHS has a reputation for high quality teaching, research and scholarship with a commitment to improving the quality of healthcare practice. The Faculty's ethos is to support students to achieve their highest academic and practice potential. 

The Faculty is developing and will offer a 3 year BSc (Hons) in Paramedic Science. As part of an existing team the post holder will work with partners to develop and contribute to teaching, research, scholarship of all theoretical elements of the paramedic programme and other programmes as directed by the Head of Department. Additionally the post holder will undertake monitoring and evaluation to ensure students meet the quality assurance agenda of the Faculty and the HCPC practice requirements. He/she will also contribute to the management and co-ordination of clinical placements, supporting students, mentors and assessors in practice.

The post is offered on a permanent contract basis. There is also the flexibility to offer a Secondment or a fixed term contract. This can be negotiated at or post interview.

This Post requires an enhanced clearance from the Disclosure and Barring Service for Adult and Child Workforce.
