Senior Research Associate in Data Science (mHealth)

The salary will be paid at Grade 7 £41,212 to £49,149 per plus £2,923 London Weighting Allowance per annum

This post will be fixed term contract until 31 March 2022

We are looking for a Senior Research Associate in Data Science to work on an exciting mobile health project within the Precision Health Informatics ( group, part of the Centre for Translational Informatics (CTI) and Maudsley Biomedical Research Centre (BRC). The role will be working on the analysis of passive (e.g. sleep, heart rate, activity) and active (e.g. questionnaires) data streams derived from smartphones and wearables within our mHealth theme for mental health disorders. Key projects include a large €25m EU project, for Remote Assessment of Disease and Relapse ( of approximately 1500 participants.

You will be identifying and applying appropriate methods, such as signal processing and deep learning, and collaborate with the relevant clinical teams and BRC themes to e.g. identify signal predictors of relapse, treatment response and detect anomalies at both individual and populational level.
