Applications are invited for the post of Senior Lecturer in Small Business and Entrepreneurship.

The successful candidate will have a higher degree relevant to Small Business and Entrepreneurship (usually PhD) or equivalent qualifications; extensive teaching experience, including development and use of innovative pedagogies at undergraduate and postgraduate level; proven ability to devise, advise on and manage learning; and skills in managing, motivating and mentoring others successfully.

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate a publication record in journals with an international standing. A track record of grant capture, a leadership role in research-related activities, mentoring of junior colleagues in their research, and active engagement with external audiences (e.g. entrepreneurs, businesses, not for profits, public sector) are also highly desirable. Candidates with research interests in the areas of SME growth, technology, international entrepreneurship or social entrepreneurship, and with expertise in qualitative and quantitative research methods, would be strongly welcomed.

Full time starting salary is normally in the range £49,148 to £56,950. With potential progression once in post to £74,259 a year.
