Department

Alumni and Development, which sits within the central Marketing, Communications and Development department, works to create mutually beneficial relationships and engagement opportunities between the University and its alumni and key stakeholders, and delivers the University's fundraising and alumni relations strategy.

Role

We are seeking an experienced prospect researcher who will take a lead role in delivering the University’s prospect research and stakeholder relationship-building strategy with a view to maximising support for the University's priority fundraising projects. This is an exciting time to join Alumni and Development as we have recently launched our First Generation campaign.

Working closely with the development team, you will be responsible for overseeing internal research processes across the department and will act as the key research contact for fundraising and senior University staff.

Ideal Candidate

You should have experience of conducting strategically focused, detailed qualitative research and prospect management, profile building and how this can drive relationship-building programmes. You should be able to demonstrate proficiency in analytics and data mining, and have experience of working with a specialised customer or supporter database. You must be a highly organised, pro-active person with excellent communication skills.
