Our Planning Office is seeking to appoint a Senior Strategic Performance Analyst (Statutory Returns) on a permanent basis. Based within the Strategic Planning and Performance team, you will support the management information and business intelligence needs of the institution through data provision and analysis. You will work as part of a small team to produce statutory student data returns. You will use both your technical expertise and data management skills to ensure the integrity and accuracy of student record data, and to implement improvements to data quality. This will also include providing support to student records related improvement projects.

We will rely on you to be responsible for the provision of analytical insights and management information to a variety of internal and external customers and contribute to the University’s corporate reporting service. This opportunity will allow you to take a lead role in ensuring student data for internal and external data purposes is clean, clear and fit for purpose.

As our new appointee, you will be educated to Degree Level (or equivalent) or have substantial experience in a directly comparable role. You will have experience of working with large databases of quantitative information, practical data manipulation and analysis in a work context. This post requires an individual with good verbal and written communication skills, including report writing and presentation skills. We look forward to receiving your application.
