Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Criminology, Criminal Justice and Law

The Faculty of Social Science is looking to appoint an outstanding academic to contribute to the continued growth of our Criminology and Law programmes.

We are looking for an individual to contribute to the provision of high quality teaching and research within the Faculty. Experience of innovative research informed teaching in HE is essential. Current knowledge and understanding of Criminology, Criminal Justice and Law is essential in order to teach effectively across the Criminology and Law provision at both Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels.

Although we welcome applications from any cognate area, we would be particularly keen to hear from candidates who specialise in any of the following: youth crime and youth justice, criminal justice, probation, public law or intellectual property law.

You should be able to demonstrate a commitment to research development in an appropriate area. The Faculty has well established links with professional bodies and knowledge and experience of professional regulatory bodies in the legal industry would be advantageous.
