The purpose of this 3.5 year post-doctoral post is to help drive forward research at the interface between immune biology (chemokine biology, in particular), neurobiology and behaviour.

We are focused on completing a series of studies that examine the effects if chemokine activity on leukocyte recruitment to the brain and the consequences of this for behaviour relevant to neuropsychiatric phenotypes related to dementia and depression.

This will include contributing to research in Institute of Health & Wellbeing and Institute of Infection, Immunity & Inflammation, as well as contributing to the writing of future grant applications on this theme.

Informal enquiries are encouraged, and should be directed to Professor Jonathan Cavanagh Jonathan.cavanagh@glasgow.ac.uk

This post has funding until 30 June 2021 in the first instance.
