Drama Administration Officer (Programmes & Operations)

Applications are invited for the post of Drama Administration Officer (Programmes & Operations).

The Drama Administration Officer (Programmes & Operations) is responsible for providing a professional service to staff and students and ensuring the effective delivery of day-to-day administration across a range of programmes and short courses within the Drama department.

The role holder will be responsible for implementing timetable changes, preparing and distributing course materials such as programme handbooks, arranging travel and accommodation for students undertaking periods of study overseas, coordinating and leading on departmental inductions, supporting activities relating to widening participation and preparing information for the departmental scholarship committees. 

Reporting to the Deputy Head of Drama Administration (Programmes & Operations), the role holder will also provide support in drafting contracts and the procurement and payment of goods and services.

Along with exceptional customer service skills the role holder will need to have excellent communication, interpersonal and numeracy skills along with attention to detail in all areas of work. The position would suit someone who has a keen interest in the performing arts.
