Salary: Grade 3 - £16,654-£18,263 per annum. Potential to progress to £19,305 per annum through sustained exceptional contribution.

The Nuclear AMRC, based in Rotherham’s Advanced Manufacturing Research Park, has an exciting opportunity for skilled and professional receptionist to join the team and represent the first impression of the company. We’re looking for a candidate that possesses excellent customer service, organisational and communication skills.

You will be part of the business support services in the administration team, assisting in the smooth running of the organisation. You will have the immediate support of the admin team, and will work to ensure the necessary administration duties of a reception are met and kept to a high standard for the centre.

You will have 5 GCSE passes at grade C or above (or have equivalent experience), have experience of computer based programmes such as Microsoft office, and be IT literate. Due to the level of computer based work, it is essential you are comfortable using IT equipment.

The role will mainly involve duties such as following up email and telephone correspondence from both staff members and external visitors, room bookings on an online calendar system and booking teleconferencing facilities. You will receive and distribute incoming mail, log and distribute all incoming deliveries using the Goods Receipts Notification system, and ensure external parcels are collected on time for external distribution. The role will also involve general reception area housekeeping, such as maintaining in date signage and documentation for visitors, and ensuring the stationary stock level is monitored.
