Online Content Manager

The CMS/Social Media Specialist Online Content Manager, in consultation with the OMEGA centre team, will populate, maintain and update the content of the OMEGA online platform to support the dissemination of the OMEGA research and lessons to a specifically targeted audience of Megaproject Practitioners.

The OMEGA Centre for Mega Projects in Transport and Development based at the UCL Bartlett School of Planning requires a part-time Online Content Manager to assist in the maintenance and ongoing development of an online platform for the dissemination of key lessons and findings of the Centre's completed research into Decision-making for the Planning, Appraisal and Delivery of Mega Transport Projects (OMEGA Centre, 2012). The start date for this post will be from Mid- September 2017.

The duration of the post is initially 12 months and is part-time 4 days a month.

The successful candidate will have knowledge and skills in:

Graphic design and software (for example Adobe Creative Suite); Platforms and programming languages for development and deployment of bespoke CMS systems (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX/Jquery; PHP and Java; database design, coding and management); Integrating CMS systems and social media APIs (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Vimeo) customization and integration into CMS; Online community building and Search engine optimisation; Writing high quality reports and online content, liaising with graphic design specialists.

The candidate will be well organised and capable of working to tight deadlines; and possess excellent management, team working and communication skills.
