We are now seeking a full-time Skills Instructor/Facilitator: Digital Sound Technologies and Radio for a fixed-term 6 month appointment.

The successful candidate will be required to provide public address (PA) system support and technical facilitation/support in assigned areas of digital audio recording and digital sound production and digital, and related software and technologies for the School of Media & Performing Arts.

The post holder will also be requied to provide safe working and supervision of students working in the digital/computer suites, music and radio studios while offering a comprehensive programme of skills inductions and assessment of competence of students in the use of particular equipment. In coordination with other members of the Media Services and Media Loans Shop teams, this post holder will also ensure that all equipment is adequately stowed, secured, maintained, and used.

Candidates will have experience of working successfully in educational environments; will have had experience of working within professional contexts; will be conversant with current health and safety legislation; and must be prepared to work flexibly during peak periods.
