The role is essential to deliverance of research projects involving new vaccine development against bacterial infections, including preclinical studies. You will use a large variety of techniques from molecular biology and cell biology, to pre-clinical vaccine evaluation, immunology and handling and analysis of blood samples from clinical studies. Training will be provided but experience in preclinical work and immunology techniques such as ELISA, ELISpot and flow cytometry are expected. Applicants should have good communication and organisational skills with good attention to detail, an interest in research and capacity to work autonomously.

The post is full-time for 1 year in the first instance.

Only applications received before 12.00 midday on Wednesday 1 November 2017 will be considered. Interviews will be held as soon as possible thereafter.
