This post is part of the University’s Marketing Team and will support a range of marketing activities primarily for the Universities Outreach team engaging with schools.

You will ensure that the University effectively manages and develops key social media channels for all Outreach activity, ensuring that both incoming and outgoing communication is representative and in line with the UEA Outreach strategy. You will provide effective, high quality support to the Marketing Managers, and will have a track record of delivering marketing and communication solutions to a range of target audiences.

You will have experience of providing strategic and operational marketing support and managing social media channels as well as input in the development and implementation of a social media strategy. You will have experience of delivering measured multi-channel marketing activities and be able to demonstrate your use of marketing insight and delivering a positive return on investment. 

You will have two A levels at Grades A-E and five GCSEs at Grades A-C (including Mathematics and English), or equivalent qualifications or experience, be pro-active, organised and creative with strong attention to detail. In addition, you will be able to manage multiple priorities with the ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team. 

The post is available from 20 November 2017 or as soon as possible thereafter on a full-time, indefinite basis.

The University is a Bronze Athena Swan Award holder, currently working towards Silver.
