Student Recruitment Assistant (Publications and Information)

Applications are invited for the position of Student Recruitment Assistant (Publications and Information) based in the Cambridge Admissions Office.

The post is part of the Student Recruitment and Information team, which delivers events and resources (both online and in print) for prospective applicants, their parents/supporters and teachers in order to encourage applications to the University.

The post holder will support the production of the Undergraduate Prospectus and other printed materials, as well as the Undergraduate Study website and other online and digital resources. This will include updating and proof reading copy, sourcing photography, liaising with contributors and printers, and supporting film projects, webinars and social media. In addition, the post holder will co-ordinate arrangements for school visits, provide administrative support to the team and attend to purchasing and other financial matters.   

This is a varied and busy role, and requires a proactive, positive and flexible approach. Applicants should have excellent organisational, administrative, communication and IT skills, with high attention to detail as well as experience of working in an office environment. An understanding of good customer care and the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with the public and a wide range of people from across the collegiate University are also essential. The post holder will work closely with colleagues as part of a strong team, and be expected to be able to prioritise and plan their individual workload in order to meet deadlines.
